Since the day, Modi assumed the office of Prime Minister of India, he has been urging the citizens to share their thoughts, suggestions and complaints. PM also holds ‘Mann Ki Baat’ Radio Programme to reach to every citizen of the Country. But we were surprised when we heard the news of an 11-Year-Old boy who has written a letter to PM.
An 11-Year old Boy from Unnao has written a letter to PM, narrating the difficulties he and his school friends had to face due to the absence of Railway Crossing between his locality and the school.
According to the reports published in The Indian Express, Nayan Sinha, a student of class VII, had written in the letter that how he and 200 other students had to take the longer route to school due to the absence of Railway Crossing.
This letter by an 11-year-old Boy prompted PM to ask the Railways to intervene. And in response, the Northern Railways has written a letter to the boy, Nayan Sinha.
Speaking to India TV, Nayan said that accidents keep happening near the railway track, and we (School Students) face problems while going to the school due to the absence of Railway Crossing, so I had written a letter to PM.
Nayan, has written the letter on 30 September 2015, without telling his parents. But his secret lasted until his parents recieved a letter from the divisional engineer, Northern Railways, mentioning his application sent to the Prime Minister.
According to the reports, A. K Sinha, senior divisional commercial manager (Northern Railways) has said that they cannot construct the Railway Crossing untill the State Government requests them to do so.
