Amitabh Bachchan is going to replace Aamir Khan as Brand Ambassador of ‘Incredible India’ Campaign.
On Wednesday, one controversial news erupted surrounding Aamir Khan that the Centre has removed Aamir Khan as a Brand Ambassador of ‘Incredible India’ Campaign.
And soon after the news released, people started commenting on Social media that this move might be a response to Aamir for his ‘Intolerance remark’ at Ramnath Goenka Excellence in Journalism Award function last November.
But yesterday, Tourism Ministry clarified the news and said that that “It was purely a contractual matter with advertising agency McCann Worldgroup. The Rs 2.96-crore contract with the agency, which featured Khan in a film for the ministry, recently ended”.
And now, Amitabh Bachchan is all set to replace Aamir Khan.
And when Mr Bachchan was asked about Aamir’s removal as the mascot of ‘Incredible India’ campaign by news channels, Bachchan said ‘PK’ star’s contract must have ended.
The Tourism Ministry said that “Amitabh Bachchan will be the first choice of the ministry for the job.”
