We all know that before taking charge as a Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi was the Chief Minister Of Gujarat. But do you know the person who offered Narendra Modi the proposal to take charge as a Chief Minister of Gujarat? It was Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
It was October 2, 2001, when the then Prime Minister Of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee called Narendra Modi over the phone and asked him what he was doing and where he was at the moment. Narendra Modi told him that he is at the funeral of a photojournalist called Gopal. Mr Vajpayee then said that you are at the funeral, So I cannot talk to you now and asked Modi to see him in the evening.
And when Modi met him, Vajpayee offered him the post of Chief Minister Of Gujarat. Narendra Modi willingly accepted the offer.
This phone call turned out to be a biggest turning point of Modi’s life. But Modi’s journey did not stop over there. Today, he is PRIME MINISTER of India. He is popularly known as NaMo and is also famous for his Tecno-savvy image. And not only in India, Modi is a well-known personality for NRIs also.
