Once again, a trick of defaming PM Modi has flopped. Raghav Chopra, whose Linkedin profile describes him as News Editor with CNN-IBN, sparked a controversy when he did this:

Untitled223

He posted a morphed picture of PM Modi touching feet of Saudi King. Mr. Modi was on a visit to Saudi Arabia and the picture was posted soon after his return. The post was deleted, but not before a screen grab was captured and posted on Twitter and Facebook. It also invited a backlash on social media networks.

But the lie of the photo was soon busted. And among the many who pointed out to Chopra that the photo was morphed was BJP lawmaker Maheish Girri. Mr Girri shared the real photo of PM Modi in which PM Modi is seen touching the feet of senior BJP Leader Lal Krishna Advani:

And to this tweet Rajya Vardhan Rathore replied:

Meanwhile, see how Raghav Chopra who was facing criticism for posting morphed picture of PM had apologised on Twitter:

The News channel had also apologised on Twitter:

And yesterday, BJP filed a complaint against the journalist. Arvind Gupta, the party’s technology cell in-charge, filed a complaint with the Cyber Cell of Delhi Police against the person working with a private TV channel for “tweeting morphed images of PM Modi”. “We have filed a complaint. The Cyber Cell will take due action in this regard,” he said.

So, all Modi-haters and media presstitutes, from now, please think twice before posting anything about our PM!!
