According to the reports published on India TV, a headmaster of the Talpukur Aara High Madrasa, Kazi Masum Akhtar was allegedly beaten up by the Maulanas for teaching National Anthem to the Muslim Kids. And he has been banned from entering the Talpukur Aara High Madrasa. A Fatwa has also been issued by clerics and maulanas against Akhtar, prohibiting him from entering the school’s precincts till he wore the traditional kurta and  pyjamas like Muslims wore, and also grew a beard.

This incident happened in West Bengal. And Akhtar claimed that he has approached West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the state Governor and the chairman of State Minorities Commission many times, but he is still waiting to get a response.

After reading about the above incident, one Question arises here that “Is teaching National Anthem to Muslim Kids Anti-Islam?”

During the debate, the BJP spokesperson, Sambit Patra said that he is shocked to know that the voice over “whether to sing National Anthem or not” has been raised from the state of Rabindra Nath Tagore who is the writer of our ‘National Anthem’.

He also added every Indian, whether he is Muslim or of any other religion should not hesitate in singing National Anthem.

In the debate, Maulana Ansar Raza who is President of  Gharib Nawaz Foundation said that  Muslims do not have any objections in singing National Anthem, except few words.
