In today’s era of technology and social media sites we don’t need to remember someone’s birthday. Why? Because we get notification alerts on social media sites. But think what happens when you wishes someone a “happy birthday” but before 96 days of his/her actual birthday. You will feel embarrassed, right. But this is all actually happened to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He wished Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on his Birthday, but before 96 days of his actual birthday.
See how this all happened.
On 12th of February, at around 3.15 Am, PM Modi tweeted: “Happy birthday
@ashrafghani. Praying for your long life & exceptional health and a joyful journey ahead.”
But what Ashraf Ghani replied must have embarrassed PM Modi. Here is what Ashraf Ghani replied: “
@narendramodi Greetings from Munich Mr. PM. Although, my Birthday is on 19th May, but I’d still like to thank you for your gracious words :)”
But how PM Narendra Modi goofed up and how he made such a big gaffe. Not to blame Modi for this. It’s all just because of Ashraf Ghani’s Google profile in which his birth date was written as 12th of February instead of his real birth day which is on 19th May.
