After the success of surgical strikes, Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar has become the ‘talk of the town’. But amid the raging debate on surgical strikes, at an event in Mumbai, he responded to somewhat different questions. He talked about his sartorial style.
At an event in suburban Bandra, Mr. Parrikar was asked about his dressing sense. And telling about his much publicized simple attire, he said “I am uncomfortable in western outfits like suits. But compared to the previous defence minister, my dress is much better.”
Further taking a dig at Arvind Kejriwal, Manohar Parrikar Said “I do not seek votes over my simplicity like another IITian.”
Commenting on his innings in Delhi, after a stint in Goa politics, Parrikar said, “I came to Delhi only because the Defence portfolio was offered to me. Otherwise, I am more comfortable in Goa.”
