In June 2013, in Uttarakhand, a natural disaster had happened which was declared as the worst Natural Disaster since 2004 Tsunami. In June 2013, a multi-day cloudburst centered on the North Indian state of Uttarakhand caused devastating floods and landslides.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) had warned the UPA government about possible Glacier meltdown 25 days in advance, but the Congress Government had ignored the warning by NASA. And their ignorance caused a death of thousands of people due to the calamity.
NASA shared the satellite imagery with the then UPA Government, which clearly showed how there was a drastic ice meltdown on two Glaciers (Churabhari and Campaignion) in KedarGhati.
