On Thursday, Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani played a role of good Samaritan, when she attended to a woman who met with an accident at Pazhakutty about 20 km from Thiruvananthapuram.

Smriti Irani who was on her way to inaugurate the permanent campus of Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISR) at Vithura, witnessed a road accident and she found a 41-year- old woman lying on the ground after a van hits her scooty which she was riding.

After seeing the incident, Irani immediately got down from her car and she went to her and consoled her. She also called the police and directed them to take her immediately to the nearby Government hospital.

However, it is not the first time that Smriti played a role of a good Samaritan. She always provides help to those who are in need. And we have seen it before.
