This is one more example of Railway Ministry’s prompt action on the public grievance. One railway passenger complained about the corrupt TTE and the TTE got suspended while still on the train.

Govind Narayan, the passenger who reported the incident, was travelling to Bikaner in coach number S6 of Barmer Kalka Express on Saturday. He observed that the TTE was charging extra Rs. 15 from all passengers for allotting seats to them.

“I observed that  the TTE Shyampal was not giving receipts to the passengers and nobody was asking for one. But I repeatedly asked for a receipt but simply told by TTE that we are travelling to Bikaner together and I will get the receipt on the way,” Govind told Aaj Tak.

So, Govind decided to complain about this corrupt TTE. He marked the twitter handles of @RailMinIndia @sureshpprabhu @narendramodi@indiatvnews @aajtak @abpnewstv.

And within minutes, he received a reply from the Ministry of Railways informing him that his complaint has been forwarded to the DRM’s office. And then the DRM spoke with Govind and Vigilance Officer Mukesh Gehlot boarded the train at Jodhpur station to take suitable action against the TTE.

After investigating and checking record books of Shyampal, DRM ordered his suspension. Shyampal was asked to de-board the train at Merta station. So, he was suspended while still on the train.

This quick responsiveness shows how committed Modi Government’s Ministers are towards their duty. Kudos to you for this great job Suresh Prabhu Ji !!
