Proud Moment For India! ISRO Sets World Record By Launching The PSLV-37 Rocket With 104 Satellites

15th of February, 2017 is going to be recorded in history because today ISRO has done something which has created a world record. Today morning, The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) launched a record 104 satellites in one go from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.  ISRO launched the satellites through the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle C-37 (PSLV C-37).

Previously this record was set by Russia in 2014 when it launched 37 satellites in a single mission. 104 satellites are from seven countries of which 3 are from India, 96 belong to the USA, and five from Israel, Kazakhstan, Netherlands, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, respectively. The first satellite to be let off was India’s high-resolution Cartosat-2 series satellite made especially to monitor activities of India’s hostile neighbours – Pakistan and China.
