In the recent shocking Uri attacks, 18 soldiers were martyred. They sacrificed their lives for us. And when whole Nation is paying homage to the martyrs and praying for their families, this businessman from Gujarat has done something beyond it. He has offered his helping hands for the children of Uri martyrs.
Mahesh Savani, a Gujarat-based businessman has announced that his group (PP Savani group) will sponsor the education of the children of all the martyrs of Uri attack.
As told to Times Of India, Mahesh Savani, social activists and philanthropist of the PP Savani group said,
“I saw a girl of our Indian soldier crying on the television saying that her father had told her to study hard and become successful. At that very moment, I decided to sponsor the children of the martyrs killed in Uri attack.”
Not only education, his group will also provide accommodations for them.
This is not the first time that Mahesh Savani is in the news for his act of charity. He owns a chain of schools for fatherless girls. He also hosts mass weddings for fatherless girls.
