“Dear ‘secular’ journalists, TV studio staples, out-of-work B grade actors, random student who wants to be famous, film-makers, mediocre writers, retired high court judges, tweeple, fiberal crusaders and other assorted motormouths,
This is a trying period for you. I understand. There are many demands on your valuable time. Your arch enemy, Narendra Modi is STILL proving to be hugely popular with the Indian voters despite your best efforts.
I can see how busy you guys are. Shuttling between TV studios, tweeting anti-Modi updates, writing anti-Modi articles for every possible rag that will feature them, addressing anti-Modi seminars and talking passionately about the fate of poor Dalits in India over a laden plate of canapés and a bubbling glass of champagne at the India International Centre.
It can’t be easy. Establishing yourself as a bonafide ‘liberal intellectual’ in the already saturated world of ‘liberal intellectuals’ in India.
For now, let us forget the fact that most ‘liberal intellectuals’ in India are neither liberal nor intellectual!
Fikar not! Help is on hand. Many preschools have this concept of a word raffle. They have a big box where they put assorted words and the children have to draw out five or six random words at a time and make a coherent statement out of it. It saves time for the kids and makes them creative.
For the first time ever, I present exclusively for your benefit, an anti-Modi word raffle box. This box will have ALL the words you would EVER need to condemn Modi to hell and back.
All you need to do, is to pick any five random words and make a sentence out of it. I guarantee you. This will NEVER fail.
So grab those pencils, keyboards and let us delve into the box, shall we?
